Apocalypse Love Song One day we all reap what we have sown Hold on tight, now, don’t let go It’s not the end of the world; it’s just the end of the world We’ll clean our slates in the blood-red river Judge me justly Stand and deliver Deliver me from what I have become Old and cold and calloused Blind and deaf and dumb The longest days and nights I’ve been through Have been the ones spent trying to forget you Tossing, turning, conscience burning Praying it’ll all be over soon If we should wake to find a new age, I pray the lord your soul not to take That He might grant another chance to repent for my mistakes An eternity to repay… Don’t let me let you down next time around Don’t forget me as you’re dancing to the sound of the world we know burning down

Hope 02:19
HOPE Keep trudging along That wretched moss will never gather upon those stones if you keep throwing them Glitter and gone The pretty things, they never seem to last But hold on, hold on Don’t let the bastards grind you down, kid For what it’s worth, it just ain’t worth it, keep workin Good things come if you let go of the past and move on Move on Hope. Hold on. Hope. Every day it’ll get a little bit easier I know it’s tough when every single face you see is hers But bit by bloody bit by bloody bit you will forget why you ever felt the way you did I know it’ll take more than this song to ease your mind I know what it’s like to just feel like giving up, sometimes If you just open up your eyes, and take a breath

A Letter To The Editor You’re not saying much of anything that hasn’t crossed my mind from time to time Saying how there’s something missing, and there’s nothing upon which you can rely Feels like every single second out of every single minute of your life Tips the scales the wrong direction Beaten down at every last attempt to try. A man once told me “Son, you only get back what your heart’s willing to give Yeah, we only get one go ‘round; It’s the same old tale, no matter where you live Those smiling faces on the TV screens, flash brochures and magazines will lie to you. You’ll find out for yourself one day, I promise you, if it’s the last thing that you do” So, why don’t you go, just get on down the road Find your fairy tale, your paradise, your Mecca where the streets are paved with gold.. …let me know how that goes… I hope you’re finding what you’re looking for. If you don’t, there’s an open door waiting here back home… I’m not saying much of anything that hasn’t crossed your mind from time to time.

The Forge 05:03
THE FORGE Trying to reach down inside of my chest Pulling out only the bits that are best Try to find calm, though I’m not quite so sure that I have any left. Shiny things, pretty things, perfect and new Fear that I squandered them all before you. Sweet little somethings so carelessly strewn about the floor of my tomb Sometimes the words just can’t find their way out Somehow get lost on the way to my mouth I hope my Benedict eyes can convince you to guide me home, when I’m in doubt That this place is my home Don’t mean the mortar and stone ‘Cause I damn sure know, if these wall could speak, they’d be cursing like a sailor, Laughing like a madman, shedding a few tears So let’s build me up fresh. Let’s forge me a heart. In the hole in my chest, Take those broken bits left, Melt them down and restart. I am the hammer and the forge I am something out of nothing I am stronger I am better than before Let’s build me up fresh Let’s forge me a heart Lay regrets down to rest Lay your head on my chest It’s not mine, now, it’s ours…
